Wild Heart

A slave to a red muscle
Putty in its hands
We fall for what out hearts dictate
Fools, every woman and man

No ruler has been as cruel as this
And yet so very kind
To dictate to us our every word
And drive us, the best love to find

This heart it searches until it's found
The one it thinks will care
Hunts one down, one that's willing
Willing a love to share

Don't underestimate your little heart dear friend
It can surprise you, what it does
It'll make you want what can be,
And forget everything that was.

Just when you think you're drowning deep
Your heart will take a turn so steep

Nothing will stop it, once it's found it's destination
No mountain, no sea, no damnation

The heart will makes it way through anything
When it's set it's eyes on what it wants
No amount of control you have will get in its way
No introspection, no meditation, no taunt.

Your heart can be stubborn and so very determined
And in the end it will reach the place it wants to
However in that state of happiness and bliss
It'll lose itself completely, to any affection or kiss

Be careful dear, of your heart so wild
she can be matured and responsible, but in love, she'll be a child

She'll sit on your sleeve and throw herself where she's called
She is hungry and needy, craving the love and the fall

She's felt it before, the pain of being torn apart
Yet she can't help it, this love-hungry heart

Tame her, teach her, let her see her worth
She is a fire within herself , a home and hearth

Let that fire forever burn but never go out
Let her love unconditionally, without any doubt

Look out for yourself wild heart
Look out and be aware
Don't give yourself away completely
Remember, to love is to share.
