A Love that Links

They've been apart before, when Love was young
when the time spent together was just mere fun
when they met by chance and not by choice
when Love was a tiny little strange voice.
now Love is loud and music to the ears
and they meet by choice rather than mere chance
every moment spent together now is a memory imprinted in their hearts
Love is elder and vibrant now, alive and awake,

to forever keep the two of them hand in hand
Love will travel back and forth
to be the bond between them, save their rapport
Love will be the link to tie
these two hearts who's fire could never die
Love, their child, will keep them afloat
when an ocean of distance threatens to drown
Love, in it's determined state will help them smile
Love, being someone, who never learned to frown.
Love, will keep the two of them close
when the world puts on their shoulders, all of its woes
Distance will have nothing on them
when Love will fight for them
no matter how far apart they'll be
