Life's Road

And when another day begins,
I’ll rise with new hope
to make a difference in life’s road
however steep the slope.

The road will be rocky
and astoundingly long
but life’s never shown me a situation till date,
that cannot be made easier with a song.

So I’ll sing my way along life’s path
and jump every obstacle I face
I’ll follow the road that’s fit for me
and my dreams, along it, I will chase.

The people i meet along my journey
will be many a friend or foe,
some will smile and push me forward,
and some won’t care where i go.

But life will go on for me
and I’ll keep moving on.
at times it’ll be a leisurely stroll,
and sometimes, a marathon
