Each of us rely on someone to get by our younger years.
And when we reach the stage to let go, it gets difficult,
even though we know we’re going to a better place,
towards making a future for ourselves.
You grew beautifully under the guidance of such a mentor,
And now suddenly, spreading your wings and flying solo seems like the scariest thing to do.
But such fear must be overcome.
It’s the only best way to thank your mentor.
So that he/she can rest assured that all those years of guiding you, did not go in vain.
So that you prove to yourself and to everyone who belittled you,
that you no longer need someone to lift your wings to help you fly.
You can now soar high on your own, touching that limitless sky, and reaching for the stars, and grasping those silver linings, breaking through those dark clouds with ease.
